Manually create devnode on CentOS5?

I do have a /dev/ttyACM0 created.  Do you mean that I can simply use this instead of /dev/entropykey?

I understand that the CDC-ACM support is buggy. If, however, my kernel has functional CDC-ACM support should ekeyd be happy with the   /dev/ttyACM0 devnode?
